THE MAN.......

As you all are aware, I raise Boer goats and also have a few dairy goats. I thought I would show you the BIG MAN here at 2 lmz farms. We call him Joey and he is a registered boer billy. He is only 4 years olds. Ain't he something.!? He likes to act like he's hot stuff but really just a big ole baby. I do breed him with my dairy goats only cause I have found out that breeding a boer to a dairy goat will throw out some wonderful meat goats and they do very well in the show ring for market goats. I try to really take care of them, they get feed twice a day with special feed and supplements, they are wormed every 21 days, and they have their hoofs trimmed on a regular basis.

Good Morning Laura,
I know it's been awhile, but alot has happened. My hubby had a stroke last month and was in the hospital for nearly a week. He is finally able to go back to work today and will be leaving out around noon. I enjoyed the picture of your goats and it was nice to meet Joey. I know you are proud of him. I put up a new post this morning but I don't know if you will be able to leave a comment or not because I know you have had trouble in the past. You can always email me tho. LOL. I am going to do my best to get back into the swing of things now since hubby is finally going back to work. It will take me a while, but it can be done. Take care my friend and have a great day. May GOD Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Awww! We had milking goats growing up, nubian. Two, one was so sweet, one was a pain in the fanny! She would eat all her food, really fast. My dad would always check to make sure we fed enough. As soon as she saw my dad she would make a huge fuss, like she was starving! Then he would get mad and tell us we need to feed her! Stupid goat! The nice one had twins once, they were so cute! I will just look at yours! No more goats for me.

He is a handsome billy, Laura. I love goats. Your Joey looks very lovable among his harem. lol.I used to have a neutered billy, but he was a pygmi, and he was just a pet. Used to think he was a dog, and ran around with my two dogs.

Thanks for showing off Big Man!

I hope all is well with you and yours.

Hi Laura,
He certainly is a handsome guy and very proud of himself. I'm sure my girls would love to meet him. I need to learn how to trim their hoofs. I built a stand for them so am working my way to learning all the stuff.
Nice to see your new post.

He is just beautiful. I loved my Buck when I had goats..but boy he was one stinky guy. Too bad, since he had a better, sweeter personality than the girls. I still have a leadrope that smells like him ..ugh.
It was fun to see your goats!
Have a great rest of the week!!

They're all beautiful! Being a city girl, I know nothing about goats, but have always thought the babies are just the cutest things on the face of the earth. My family thinks I'm nuts.
