First I want to thank you all for those encouraging words and know how much I apperciate everyone of you. Yesterday was a better day for me. I have never been like this before and it scared me. I honestly thought there for a while I was losing my mind. Could it be 'old age' that is causing me act like this?lol Had a barrel race Saturday and once again, Dass done me right. We had a real good time. Ran a 15.832 but the most important thing, I left 3 barrels standing. Gosh, it felt good to be back in the saddle again. When I was running, JB was trying to call me. I cried when I noticed I had a missed call from him but it was bittersweet, knowing that when I was actually running, JB was thinking of me and calling. Ain't that weird? I don't know when I will be able to talk to him again, I just hope that he can place a call again soon. My neice ran Sat night at the rodeo and done real good. I hate that I missed her running but I was busy opening presents like a walking stick, tired old ass soak(no joke) , and geritol. Just one note, Tracey, she is getting better at not screaming when she runs.lol

Hey, if you are out barrel racing, you can't be that old! If you are "that old," then you have my admiration! Glad you are better...always tough to leave a child. My oldest is home for a few days of fall break from college, and when he leaves, I will experience "withdrawal" for a day or two!

Glad you are feeling a little bit better. Getting out and running Dass sure does help. Main thing is you got to take care of yourself. MB

Laura, glad you are feeling a little better. Wow, three barrels standing is great! And even though you missed that call from JB, knowing he was thinking about you right then was a wonderful blessing.

Sending you good wishes for many more blessings.

So goog to be back checking out blogs again. I'm sure you were excited to see your son. Dry runs before the event are the way to go. I couldn't help but laugh of the one in the back telling you that you were going to jail.

Keeping busy with the horses and horse shows will make your time go faster.

Hope JB stays safe. Tell him we appreciate his willingness to serve his country. Our prayers are with them all!!

I swear girl, it's hormones!!! Been there done that! Keep with your horsies! I bought a shirt you would LOVE...hehe mom gave me money to buy some nice work clothes...I went to Tractor Supply and bought a long sleeved tee with a cowgirl barrel racing around a red, white and blue barrel. It's so cool!! :) I don't even have a horse, have ridden in 20 years and you all have got me hooked!!
